Ujjain Homestay is a platform that connects travellers and pilgrims with independent, verified local homestay hosts in Ujjain. We personally review and verify each listed property, but each homestay is independently owned and operated by its host.
3. User Accounts & Eligibility
To make a booking, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract. You are responsible for providing accurate information at the time of enquiry or booking, including your name, contact number, and government-issued ID where required.
4. Bookings
Bookings made through Ujjain Homestay — whether instant or host-approved — are confirmed once you receive written confirmation via WhatsApp or email. It is your responsibility to check the confirmed dates, price, and inclusions before arrival. See our separate Booking Policy for full details.
5. Pricing & Payments
Listed prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and, unless otherwise stated, are inclusive of applicable taxes. Prices may vary during festivals and peak pilgrimage seasons but will always be confirmed to you before payment. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.
6. User Responsibilities
By booking with us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate personal and payment information.
- Carry a valid government-issued photo ID for check-in, as required by law.
- Treat the host's home, property, and family with respect.
- Follow the homestay's house rules, available on our Guest House Rules page.
- Not use our platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
7. Host Responsibilities
Hosts listed on Ujjain Homestay agree to maintain the standards of cleanliness, safety, and honesty verified at the time of listing, to honour confirmed bookings, and to communicate any changes promptly through our support team.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we personally verify every homestay before listing, Ujjain Homestay is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your stay at a host property, except where such loss arises directly from our own negligence in the booking process. We strongly encourage guests to communicate any issues to our support team immediately so we can assist.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Ujjain Homestay or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
